Re: walled city
an update added some terrain and a rather large bit of water to simulate a river, lake and swampy area added a number of buildings more ( mostly just copy/rotate/paste ) and a dock area near the bridge ( I hope to have a boat that works ) all buildings have interiors and are laid out to form maze-li...

I'll keep going until my framerate drops by half, then begin finishing it off.

Re: Lamiae support here as well???
It's covered here https://github.com/Hirato/lamiae/wiki/Textures You probably just forgot to issue /calclight to regenerate surface normals; it's unfortunately not automatic. I read that link. It is very helpful. I didn't know about issuing calclight to recalc the normals though. That fixed my prob...

Re: texturing project and experiments
Thanks for the advice, but I'm trying to do something a little bit different. I can make textures from photos easy enough, but here, I'm trying to actually model the surface of the texture to some degree, such that blender can generate AO, normal and depth maps for me. I will be forced to teach myse...

Re: texturing project and experiments
well.. this has been a bit of a failure Making this sort of thing seamless is a pain. The easy tools in GIMP aren't handling this well and doing it the hard way is too much like actual work. I'll have to find a different way and make it seamless during the modelling itself and not afterwards. Oh wel...
