Re: CFG Easy Text Editor (for maps)

It should be there before you start the program. as having it there before having to run the program is more of a courtesy thing towards the users. Re: CFG Easy Text Editor (for maps)

Pretty much, you include a file with the .exe that is named LICENSE, and just paste the contents of the license you choose into that file.
You'll need to also be sure to include that license file when you distribute, but that's not hard at all if you pack everything in a zip file before uploadingl.

Most if not all licenses cover the if-it-breaks-it's-on-you angle, but I do really recommend having a formal license in place. If you want to match Sandbox, IIRC it uses the zlib/png license, so you might want to take a look at that.

Re: CFG Easy Text Editor (for maps)

Aside from the fact that it seems you're making this platform specific, I see a lot of potential in this project. Maybe you ought to take a look into something like PyQT , which would allow you to build this to be compatible with *NIX, Windows, and Mac OS X. The main downside of that, however, is th...

Leo, did you actually try what he said?

See if the memory use starts to quickly grow when playing.

Re: Custom Texture Problems

Ahh, that's copywritten content, and unless you can prove that it is under a license allowing one to use it free of charge without restrictions, I've got to remove that link.
