If it is, it doesn't make any sense.

GR1M, youre a genius... You gave me an Idea... I think its time we showed off the features of KRS, SSP, Movie, RPG and FPS for new users. One I have for KRS is pretty cool...

Anyone ever played "Wipeout" on PS1/PS2? Wipeout Wiki Page
Well, since we have a very cool way of developing models on sandbox without the need of 3D modelling software

Code: Select all

writeobj name
I think we can develop some vehicles for KRS based on those from Wipeout the Game. Considering we don't need to code that much, and power-ups can be developed through some small C++ files, this can be wrapped up very quickly. All we really need is to develop some tracks and menus, and these would be easy to design. As well as that, we also need SFX and Music... And I think cork is perfectly suited to it, dont you?

So you mean you want some eyecandy maps? I have been working on a map for KRS, I'll give it to you if you want.

I'm just still wondering what Leo means by:

Code: Select all

writeobj name
Because we all know that KRS could use an overhaul, but that bit of code could be a game changer.

that's the code that turns a map into an .obj model, I think... So if we used Sandbox to make a car or truck or something out of the material... Actually, if you saw Eseq's video on the racetrack, he had a racecar made from the regular material... I see what he means. We could do what eseq did and make a model car for KRS that way.

He "breaks" it? Like making it unstable?

For all I care, all of PAS could use an overhaul to an extent. Some features just need to be re-created entirely. Like heightmapping/topography editing (in my opinion).
