Might I suggest that you replace the Glass with the Alpha material? Simply place white-textured geometry in the windows, then place alpha there, using "/valpha 0.2" on both sides. It might look better. :D

I can't get this to work.

I assume that any white texture will do? and that "/valpha 0.2" is a code I launch with the window selected?

I have tried using a white texture (FBP/tile_fff.png) on a window thats one gridsize 0 thick, and then execute "/valpha 0.2" on both sides, but nothing happens?

all you have to do to apply alpha material is to select the material, hit F3 (in edit mode, of course), and select alpha. To use the code, just hit ~ (above the tab key), which brings up the command console. Type in "valpha 0.2", then hit enter. I believe that the alpha material would have to be applied first.

Thanks, I thought I just had to use a texture with an alpha channel, I hadn't seen the "alpha" in the materials menu

I ended up using 0.1 on the outside and 0.2 on the inside.
It does look a bit more natural i agree, my only problem now is that I have to do it on the remaning 112 windows... sigh!

if the windows are all the same size, just copy and paste. Highlight geometry, hit c, right-click and drag the selection window over to the next window, overlap entirely, and hit v to paste. If not, then hit ` again to bring up the console, and use the up and down arrows to go through history.

Sadly all my windows in the city Moonvalley have a center thing that disappear when I use this trick (see attached image).

I'll keep it in mind for future windows thou.
