Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

First, thanks so much to the creators for developing something like this for free/education! From the tutorial videos it seems to be very intuitive.

I am outlining a book that I plan to write this coming November for NaNoWriMo. The book takes place on a small island off the coast of Taiwan, called Lamei island. I was drawing a map of Lamei, and wanted to model it in 3D. I looked through many other world creating programs, but most were too complicated or expensive. After watching many videos, I finally settled on Platinum Arts Sandbox!

Quick first question:

Is the school edition the main build? Or is it made specifically for students. Any differences in features? (assuming there is a different, main build)

The student edition doesn't have the WatergunWars (FPS) mode installed. For your project, it sounds like the student edition should be OK.
