Archipelis
This innovative concept is extemely easy to use: just draw an outline from a background images to make a 3D textured model! Or you can use a blank view and just draw the shapes you want from scratch. It's the most intuitive approach to sketch out the shapes and enhance them with textures and photographs. Archipelis Designer does all this. Clearly, It's the easiest way to build Second Life content.

Painting is Easy: Colours and shapes are easy to work with using Curvy's artist friendly tools. You can sketch and paint colours, forms and bumps directly onto your 3D models, and then export models and textures for use in other 3D software.

CB Modelling Pro
Free 3d sculpting program.. .kinda like working with clay sculptures. gets way too many vertices after awhile if you make alot of corrections/changes to it. and it re-renders every change. not as smart as zbrush

Z Brush -
Not free but has a sweet demo. this is a fantastic sculpting program, sadly the amount of polygons is insane :D not terribly useful for mmos but nice for just about everything else. reallllly expensive!
