In this thread:

I have posted a link to a printable version of the Cube 2 reference guide. I have also added the basic Sandbox commands to it. I take no credit for this work. I just formatted everything, corrected some spelling errors, tried to make things easier to read, and most importantly made something you can print without using a bunch of ink.
Bookmark the thread because if I have anything else to share the links will appear there.

Re: Printable Sandbox 2 Reference Guide
Nothing new to me from what I've read, but good for beginners.

Re: Printable Sandbox 2 Reference Guide
I should make it clear this was based off the Cube 2 guide, and I found a Sandbox specific guide a few days after I compiled this one. So I have to spend a few more hours updating the guide to be specifically for Sandbox, now that I have this information.
Pretty much any content I put out there will be for beginners, as this is what I am and what we need more of to grow the community. Communities are primarily made of, you guessed it, beginners, who come in to learn how to use a program. The more resources we have for them the better. Actually the best scenario I think for any new software that could attract a community is to completely inundate everyone with vast amounts of quality tutorials and resources, so folks can find the best way that appeals to them to learn and have plenty of good examples to study to boot.
In my experience not all teachers are compatible with all students. Also beginner series tutorials (AKA Part 1 - the Interface and Controls, Part 2 - Making A Cube, etc. etc.) are not the best way to go. I have learned from hard-won personal experience that project based tutorials which put beginners in the water and teach them to swim , instead of describing the swimming pool and process of swimming, are the absolute best way to go.
So yeah, the more beginner resources the better, and any content I make (for now) will be for beginners as well as project-based. I'm still formulating what I want to do in my brain, but I may decide to do something like, "Dig Out A Cave In Sandbox" for my first tutorial. I liked the C3CyberClub stuff showing how to build a house. That's a pretty good set of tutorials. I hope to see more like that.
I'll update this thread when I have the new guide ready -
