@jsoft: so you got everything working all right? What else did you guys do?

Also, I've been working on some basic map layouts on my iPod, I'll try to have them ready by tomorrow.

@Rune: yeah, didn't think of that... Do you have the WW SVN version? I assume you do by now...

as for the map, cool. I was looking through a lot of old topics (closing my old ones from back in the day of my noobdom) and I actually found my old waterwars map one. It was weird, reading on all that stuff again. Tell me when you have the vid up.

EDIT: since you edited your post, I'll edit mine.

The map is a good start, personally I wanted to see some tests of water shooting action, but I really do think the map has good beginnings for a shooter map. The stairs might be too tall, however, and maybe too narrow. The large rooms are pretty cool, but are lacking.

Far from over, the bottom room is the spawn, the upper one is for the flag (its a ctf map) the stairs are pretty long, yeah, I think Im going to change them for jumppads
The map will be semetrical too, so Ill copy one half to the other half

@Rune: oh, so it's a capture map? cool. I always preferred "drenchmatch" (you know what I really mean) maps, but those can be fun as well.

@stealthpanda: two things. First, NAME YOUR IMAGES to something other than "screenshot ##########". I realize it's a bit of a hassle to name images when you're putting a lot up. But you just added 4 or 5 images, and there are two of one map and two of another. Are they different parts of one map? Or are they two different maps, with completely different aspects about them?

Second: about the maps. I'm only going to assume the first map (first two images) is the right one. Anyways, where was I?
The first image shows the player within a trench, looking up. I know it's not really a trench, but it reminds me of one and that's what I'm going to call it. The lighting is pretty solid, you could use some other textures, however.
The second image is a bird's eye view of the map. I can see some planks to walk across, which is a pretty cool idea. However, you kind of kill the idea by having a large section of building underneath the bridges, such as in the lower left hand corner bridge and in the middle. I don't see anymore violations other than those two. I'm not entirely sure what's going on with where everything is, as it appears to be an open basement kind of thing.

Overall, the map looks pretty cool, and it looks like one I'd play when it's done. It's open, relatively roomy, and there are quite a few cool features. What kind is it? A drenchmatch, CTF, base capture...?

Oh, and BTW: read your image comments as well, there could always be feedback in there as well.
