Will 2.6 have the new ui and stuff? And a new Gui to work with (Like what Chaze made)?

I don't know about a new GUI, but the UI will be optional on/off as the coding seems a bit harder to learn.

I don't know if this works now, but with connected maps, can values for items be inherited/brought along/kept the same?
Example:
map 1: I get 5 dollars. (The office, I get my paycheck)
map 2: That 5 dollars comes with me from map 1. (Cashed @ bank)
map 3: I bring 5 dollars along and use it. (Grocery store)
If not, will this come in the future?

EDIT: can there also be a diagonal platform/elevator entity? Like an escalator?

* sun entity ( must have constant angle all over exposed area(s))
* merge player velocity vectors //this will alter physics in somewhat serious ways

some of these are done, but others, like the finishing the maps, could be worked on...
