server trouble

i put in the info, save it, but when i click on the server.bat file, a window pops up, then leaves, within a milisecond, what do i do?

I think that the problem is following:
You launched the server, then you closed the window. Now when you try to launch it again it pops up for a sec and then disappears. The problem is that sandbox doesnt allow you to set up more than 1 server at a time and when you close the server window the process of the server isn´t terminated. You must go to the task manager and close the process of the server.

my computer had this trouble too, but i tried to connect to my server anyway and it worked just fine

Right, but I couldn't even find the server, and i tried hitting the button to update it

Try connect localhost or connect yourip. If you find the server in your process list (sandbox_fps.exe if on windows) then your server is still up and you need to close it to make another one. Take care!
