i am having trouble figuring out how to get 3d grass i have looked through the FAQ and this forum but i dont undestand how i press /grass 1 and nothing happens what am i doing wrong??

like if i have combined a clam shell with a pice of bamboo and some vines i could make a axe and then in return use the axe to chop wood

Thanks all this has been realy informational. but i understand how to make things pickupable i want to be able to get the bark streight from the tree.

i am trying to make a game that takes place on a desserted island where you will need to gather different resources to survive and i was wording how would i go about writing the scripts??
ie: Gathering Limbs,bark, and vines from trees.
