Re: Spacecraft

ship in pas.jpg Ok here's a simple example. I made the texture before I made the model. However after playing with it in PAS, I noticed something else, You can pull cubes out of mid air in PAS . You could build your ship in PAS and not even build a model ! Wings3D is available for Linux. I used Fra...

Re: Spacecraft

Doesn't Blender have a paint mode ..... Many times I've made a texture before I made the model. I use Paint.net, but you could use Gimp to do the same. I'll build and post an example today .....

Re: Question on Characters

check out my post in the tutorials ...
It's for MD2 export ... but someone suggested SMD format, I'm still working on a new model but SMD follows same rules as MD5.

You'll need a model that's UV-mapped and has a texture, and if it has a normal map or needs an Environment map (mirror/chrome) you'll need the codes from the Wiki in your xx.cfg file. F...

Character Model Questions

Afters some looking into .... I suppose the SMD format might be a better way to go for me ... as far as I understand, the .cfg commands should be the same as md5 with the obvious name change. However this raises other questions, and I don't need a link to anything linked in the Wiki ..... but unders...
