Possible Project- Sandbox as an editor for other games
Like I said in my homecoming post (dont know what else to call it haha) I am a lot more experienced now than I was initially joining the forum, and think I may start working on a conversion project for PAS. I was thinking of possibly using the Cube engine to power a sort of MCedit-esque program, all...

Gil90's back
After the three years I had forgotten about Sandbox, I found it again and redownloaded. I'm pretty excited to be back on the forums (remembered my password, thank goodness). Anyway, I have indeed grown since those 4 years ago, when I joined this community, and believe I can be far more more useful t...

Indigo Plateau- Work in Progress
Hey guys, Gil here. It's been a long time since I've posted, but I recently started working on a map of the Indigo Plateau, the "Ultimate Goal of All Pokemon Trainers". It's not exactly alike yet, but I've started what you'd call a "rough draft". Let me know what you guys think :)

karts in fps
I checked, and think that this topic isn't anywhere else on the forums, but you can play as an ogre in a car in FPS mode by copying the kart folder and replacing a player model with it (like pasting it onto the blue ogro folder after deleting the contents of it). Go on mod>packages>models>kart, copy...

Re: How did you find sandbox tell us your story
I found Sauerbraten on the internet, but wasn't old enough (you know, the violent effects). So I then searched Google for a similar engine, and found one derived from sauerbraten. i have been using PAS ever since.

Re: Town map
It looks really good
You could try putting more lights, and making the lava paths more realistic with heightmap mode. It looks pretty good, though

Mapmodel requests
I noticed that A Lot of the mapmodels in the game (pot, chest, and millblade) are from the Legend of Zelda. Does any body have mapmodels like the shields, enemies, and swords from the Legend of Zelda? Perhaps even a Link mapmodel? That would would be nice.

Re: Water issues
Or you can make a small hole (one cube length) and make it go down as deep as possible. Then you go to the bottom (on edit) and fill it with water. Be sure that when filling water, you go all the way to the opposite corner (on the surface). Am I making sense? Just wondering.

Re: F1 and F2 not working longer
I think I know what you mean. When I ran 2.3, I ran it on a laptop. And on laptops use f1 and f2 buttons for controlling brightness. So I was stuck with having to go on the menu to select textures, and getting out of edit mode to get out of the menu. Why don't you try running it on a desktop, if not...
