Re: custom scoring system...this is a tough one...

The best way to test that its adding correctly is to type the following into the console echo (r_global_get $wins) it will tell you the number of wins in the top left corner.. As for where its stored in the variables.cfg although it doesnt print out in the file during gameplay.. So its a good idea t...

Re: custom scoring system...this is a tough one...

WTF, just read that it should be persistent.. I think you need RPG mode for this.. So, here is basically the idea how to solve this using rpg mode: 1) set up 2 global variables in variables.cfg of your game (e.g. wins, fails) wins = (r_global_new 0) fails = (r_global_new 0) 2) make a win and a fail ...

Re: 2.8 Wishlist

In-game HUD editor.. Press a button (i.e F1-12) click and drag hud images to move into desired position.. A command to add a new image/hud item while in "hud edit mode".. The only flaw i could think of would be alignment issues maybe? its just a wish/idea.. Im very pleased with the current...

Re: Map model scale

With every model there's a obj.cfg file inside that file you can set the model size with: "mdlscale x" x = the number for the size i.e mdlscale 500 would make the model 500% larger Edit: the .cfg file will be named with the same file format as the model.. I.e a .md3 = md3.cfg .md5 = md5.cfg

Re: Problem with custom sound

You might also check to see if you have altered the EQ in wmp from the default settings.. This might explain why the sound isnt as high-pitched and crisp in-game as it sounds in your media player..

Have you tried the sound in another media player to see if its a sandbox exclusive problem?
