Did you tried the 'CLICK ME TO START.BAT'? Because the launcher doesn't always work, and the 'CLICK ME TO START.BAT' works better

Have you seen the textures with 3d grass in-game? They look like textures which you can blendmap, maybe you just have to add another texture to it like you do with blendmap? Just guessing
