You can also trying 2 download the SVN version: http://sandboxgamemaker.com/wiki/index. ... evelopment (everybody may use it, but actually it's the developers version), download Tortoise and it should work.
Also try turning the shaders off.

You can upload pictures by uploading attachements (under save, preview and sumbit, right of options), than you can place it inside the text, or just leave it (doesn't matter, you can both see them).
