in the model.cfg file for the model... there is a configuration called mdlbb, probably near the bottom...
example... rc model md5.cfg
mdlbb 3 12.5 .9 (i set my width to 3)
the first is the width
the second the height
and the third the view height
.9 is a percent... .9 of 1.0...

if its the height of the map, i believe that is a finite number... but you could 'raise the bridge or lower the river (so to speak) by pushing down the starting ground level... if that makes any sense to you... (it goes up and down the same finite number)...

guard and follow would make sense... well that would be a very important consideration in my story line, but i could adjust without... i have plenty to do B4 i come to that, the maps and models remain the same

ok... i've decided to work on maps (3) and models for the game... and if i finish my maps and models B4 the next edition is ready... well i'll make that decision when the time comes... ok... from the golden room to the next map... a dark and gloomy world with plastic smiles like nothing is wrong... ...

purrfect... well that's certainly worth consideration as my char has my full rig in it with constraints, fingers, heel/toe, and a couple of poses already, as we speak... amazing what can be done with a couple of cubes

i think i got the body from blendswap cc-zero a couple years ago... but she does look familiar... her armour is texture painted, all she needs now is a good pair of boots and a really really big sword :) i was going to use my model, but she starts at 2500 tris (i suppose i could take a few loop cuts...
