Re: Just installed 2.8

It is not my intention to be a pest about this problem, but it still exists. I used the new install script and it ran fine, including setting permisions, util completion with no errors. I made sure that the 'sandbox_unix' binary was able to be executed. After the installation was done and presented ...

Re: Just installed 2.8

Hirato, Thank you for replying so quickly. I seem to have this problem when a new version is released.. or maybe I am just jinxed? Ubuntu 12.04, at the moment, is running with the 3.0.2-27 kernel. I forgot to mention in my previous post that I installed SB 2.8 via the "install.sh" script. ...

Re: texture making tool; NeoTextureEdit

Best texture tut I have seen. Worked like a charm. Many thanks for the assist. (reason for inquiry: I am trying to recreate the old DOS Wolfensein 3D game using the same textures. Originals were 64x64, but used Gimp to resize and rename. Used the texture tutorial. Now I am rocking. Ah. Memories! - n...

Re: texture making tool; NeoTextureEdit

I am a complete noob when it comes to textures. My question is: Once the texture is made, how do I add it to Sandbox? Is there a step-by-step tutorial?

Regards

Door problem

Hey guys. This may sound trivial, but I have a problem with opening doors. At the moment I am using SB 2.7.0 and cannot get a door to open when I approach it. I added the door using: /newent mapmodel 110 10 0 and nothing happens. I tried exactly the same thing using SB 2.6.1 and it worked perfectly....

Re: 2.7.1 will not start

Hirato, I realize that this problem is frustrating and I sense that you are annoyed. I can understand that, and you have every right to be. If I were confronted by someone like me with a similar problem, I would probably react the same way. I know you are trying your best to help, and I seem to be m...
