Re: Picture frames halloween sky
Here are the frames obj files with the plain uvtexture map if you would like to paint your own textures. I also included the spec and normal maps The license is free to use for commerical, personal, non-commerical and you can change the files however you like. License is in the folders. Chaze007, I ...

Picture frames halloween sky
Hi all, It's gotten really busy around here. It would be faster if you could upload your image file you want for the frames and I will use my 3d paint program to insert them into the frames uv map. I will churn both the frames and halloween sky out by tommorrow as we are fast approaching Halloween. ...

Re: Adding Multiple Textures onto a Model.
If you have time watch the first tutorial on making uvs for a simple model in Wings3d. Plus Google creating uv maps for game characters. There are lots out there. You will have to setup several material groups (one for the head, legs etc) unwrapped them and then put them all on one UV map. Then use ...

Re: Adding Multiple Textures onto a Model.
I'm not sure if Sandbox supports multiple uvs on the same model file. The main reason to load multiple textures on a model is for extra high detail as each texture as more uv space which gives you more pixels per texture. So unless really necessary keep it simple with just one texture uv for your ob...

Re: Adding Multiple Textures onto a Model.
First unless your really want lots of extra high detail texture on your obj object their is really no need to have multiple texture loading.
But if you do go that route, then have you made multiple uvs, one each for the texture you want to load?

Re: New skyboxes
Here is a picture of all three skyboxes, of course they are warped in this view but you get an idea of the atmospheric look to the skies.

Re: how do i use blender?
Hi gil90. If you are new to 3D modeling you might want to start with a program that at first is easier to use than blender. Blender is a great 3d program but the interface takes awhile to get use to it. You can make your mapmodels and any animation in blender. You though have to expect a steeper lea...
