Re: Playdeb Ubuntu Package
Unfortunately, you need Ubuntu to run/install it. It requires the apt plugin that Ubuntu developed, plus the installer goes looking for the version of Ubuntu that you have installed, to install the proper .deb.

Re: Request for joining as a developer/bugfixer
Thanks for the answer, but where (and how) can I submit the changes I have done to the code, at least in the patch form? I just really want to fix these issues since they have annoyed me enough. Protagores, Come into the IRC channel: Server - irc.oftc.net , Channel #sandbox . Introduce yourself, th...

Cataract Surgery
Well, folks, this is it. Tomorrow (Tuesday, August 3, 2010) I go in for surgery on my right eye to replace the lens. The eye will be covered with a patch from the end of surgery (7:00 AM!!! Re: No vehicle simulator
kevinatoranator,
I believe the vehicle simulator is only in the SVN, and it's still in its early stages of development (it does work). I believe you would have to compile the SVN yourself, though.

Re: Free Content Webpage List: Models, Textures, Sounds, Mus
I have some textures available. OUTSIDE of Sandbox they're under Creative Commons license, BY - NC - SHARE. INSIDE Sandbox, they are free to use and/or modify, whether commercial or non-commercial. I would like some credit for creating and supplying them, but inside Sandbox I'm not TOO concerned. I'...

Re: Lights
Benvdog, Go to edit mode and find the light. When you hover over it there are a number of lines, such as: Radius: 128 Red: 255 Green: 255 Blue: 255 128 255 255 255 For Radius, press and hold "1" (one), and scroll forward with the mouse wheel will increase the number. The same holds true fo...
