As Project: Regen is on Hold, And my recent RPG project kind of died, I thought about making an RPG based on "How to train your Dragon". The Video game kind of sucked so I got bored pretty quickly, The film however was the best I've seen in ages. Now for a quick introduction:

Dragon Training: Fire Fury is based on the film "How to train your Dragon" by Dreamworks. It focuses on major areas within the film that would make spectacular elements for the game. Hopefully, the newly developed RPG mode will support Flight and Not-so-stupid AI, It already supports a brilliant Cutscenes and Dialogue system in comparison to the previous version, and as for Save and Load, that was one factor that killed R17 (besides a virus). Now for the Story:

As most of us know, The story of "How to train your Dragon" takes place in a mythical Viking world where a young Viking teenager named Hiccup aspires to follow his tribe's tradition of becoming a dragon slayer. After finally capturing his first dragon, and with his chance at finally gaining the tribe's acceptance, he finds that he no longer has the desire to kill it and instead befriends it. The "Night Fury" (Toothless) is thought of as the "unholy offspring of lightning and Death itself", It is extraordinarily fast, Never steals food, never been seen and Never Misses its target. Now, Due to the fact that Dreamworks may not appreciate it if we used the entire story, Im making quite a few alterations, although I will be keeping the Dragons appearances as they are key to the game. The game will still follow the same path, but will have more sections and will contain quite a few quests to keep the player interested. As for everything else...

The game will feature:
- Custom made 3D models
-- Animated
-- Rendered
-- Exported
- Custom Soundtrack by our very own cork279
- Custom Textures
- Voiced characters

Here are the "Unofficial" tracks, They just need a little work here and there:

Track One
Track Two

If anyone would like to help with this project, feel free to post below, I need all the help I can get.

When in doubt... Google it. :D
This is gonna be fun! Hopefully we can implement Multiplayer too, It would be funny to get chased around a maze by a dragon who is also a player.

It helps to know that it [How to train your dragon] is also an 8 (I think) book series, try reading those, however I think the movie is only really based on the first (with details from the following books).

Well, I know from the books that "Toothless" wasn't a Night Fury, just a "Common Garden Dragon". But thats no problem. Our "Toothless" is a Night Fury. On another note. The Flight Gear on the dragon will be customisable, You can add your own Emblem if you wish, you could even change the colour. The Dragon can also be swapped for another one, if you dont want to fly around on a Night Fury, you can fly around on a "Hiddeous Zippleback" or maybe a "Monstrous Nightmare". Its up to you really. Multiplayer would also be an entertaining feature, Having the choice to "Train" with your friends in the "Training Ring", or dive down onto your friends for some smooth arial attacks in "Dogfight". I hope Hirato will be on our side with this, we really need "Flight" to be implemented into RPG.
