Code: Select all

/gamespeed ##

Am I right? Anyways, yes, it's a very cool effect, if you could combine that into cutscenes and properly up the motion blur a bit, that would be very very awesome. That effect would also be quite cool in waterwars, except that some of us (including me) would get bored due to impatience.

Yeah :p
Here's the command to do it.
Just type this into your game like u do other commands. When you do then when you hole Left Shift it will slow the gamespeed and when u let go it goes back to normal gamespeed.
/bind LSHIFT [gamespeed 50 ; onrelease "gamespeed 100"]

Cheers,
Matthew

I think itd be fun if a gamemode in waterwars had always slower gamespeed/movement speed and higher gravity (realistic jumping), just because I prefer to play fps games like that =P

It's definitely a neato affect :)

I personally love shift = sprint so I'd probably make it a wee-bit faster! Regardless, that's pretty cool and I might end up using it as a secondary thing in addition to sprinting.

Wouldn't shift-sprint actually follow a keybind code more like this...

Code: Select all

/bind LSHIFT [movespeed 120 ; onrelease "movespeed 100"]

Seeing as gamespeed slows/speeds up the entire game whereas movespeed just speeds up the character, which sounds like what you're getting at.

COOL IDEA: use gamespeed in conjunction with movespeed to create an RPG spell that can warp time.

That... was my point xD

And yeah, it would be cool to have a spell like that.
