3rd person in RPG mode

When I'm in RPG mode I'm unable to enter 3rd person view by pressing "9." Is there a command I can enter, or differnt key on the keyboard that will get me into 3rd person?
Or even better! is there a way to start the game in 3rd person view?
All help will be appreciated

are you in edit or gameplay mode? Oh wait, that's changing playermodels, nevermind...
Probably has to do with a messed up keybind, there's a file with all of them that you can modify...

The 1-0 row of keys at the top are used for hotkeys.
Currently this only allows you to shortcut through conversations.
eventually this will be a short way to equip and use stuff
