Would it be possible to make a spawned RPG creature come to life in my own FPS map I made? If not, could you at least tell me how to bring them to life in other modes?(PS I have version 2.61)

The simple answer is no, you cannot bring them to FPS mode. You could however create some "AI" for SSP mode (albeit with a bit of tricky programming).
