I am curious if there is a way to resize textures inside the editor as you place them on models? I know you can resize the grid by using the ‘G + mouse wheel’ so I am trying to do the same thing with the textures. Can someone tell me the procedure so I can improve my workflow? Thanks~

I imagine that you meant changing the size of textures on a brush, not models, correct? If you want to change the texture on a model, you have to do it through the model's skins in the /packages/models folder. As far as scaling a texture size, you can't do it in game that I am aware of. You can do it through the default map settings list though. Sounds like a feature that would be worth putting on the todo list though. In addition, depending on what you are trying to do, you could try blendmapping which is essentially painting on top of a texture. Try placing a texture on top of a brush that has a mini texture in the lower corner. Then hit P until it says replace. Then left click and paint away on that texture. Take care.

Hi Mike
Yes I was talking about the brush, and I agree it would be a cool feature to have. I love texture blending, thanks for the tip! I'm going to go try that now~

That indeed would be a nice feature (ability to resize textures while in edit mode). Another would be the ability to scale map models while editing.
I suppose you could just use the texscale command. Heres an example of its use below from the defaultmapsettings.cfg
texture 0 "texturepack/wood096.jpg"
texture n "texturepack/wood096n.jpg"
texture z "texturepack/wood096h.jpg"
