Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

Hey there. I downloaded the Sandbox software a few hours ago and have been playing around with it. Looks awesome! But there's one thing I can't figure out. How do I go into the modes for making a sidescroller or RPG. I looked everywhere but can't find out how to go into sidescroller or RPG mode.

I'm on a Mac computer. Are these modes disables for the mac?

Sheez, I feel stupid for asking this. The answer's probably in front of my face, but I simply can't find out how to get into these other modes anywhere...

OS X is sort of the black sheep in sandbox
it should compile and run just fine, but we don't have anyone to compile it for us - so you're left with a binary file that's from version 2.3 (and that's REALLY old!).
to top it off, no one on the team (myself included of course) even has a mac which makes it hard (if not impossible) to support.
and even then, OS X related files are hideously outdated - so even if someone could compile it for us, they'd need to set everything up first

My sister is getting a mac and when she does i'll compile it.

Ah, OK I understand now. Well, the 3D mode works great. I'm using sandbox 2.5 and mac osX. But no dice on the sidescroller or rpg modes. I'd gladly compile it to help out if I knew what the heck I was doing in any way, shape, or form. Maybe I could help out if anyone needs any beta-testing or something.
