Sandbox crash coop-edit

Sandbox crashes everytime another player gets near in coop-edit. What is causing this and how can i fix it? Both players have disabled catalyst AI and are running a HD5850 and HD4870 graphic cards on Win 7 64 bit. It works fine on full graphics without coop-edit but when both of us are in the same LAN server it crashes one or sometimes both of our games.

We have tried running in compatibilty mode for Windows xp (service pack 3) but with no luck.

Please help.

I and obsidian played a bit earlier. We were unable to reproduce it at this moment.

at anyrate, this workaround might be worth trying

Where do i put the "oqdynent 0" command? I don't have a "autoexec.cfg" file anywhere in my platinum arts' folders. I tried entering it ingame using console but my game still crashes after about 10-15 mins into the build.

I got the coop-edit to work without crashing when another player enters my sight but my game still shuts down about 10-15 mins into construction. I cannot build while this is happening. its really annoying please help. I made every .bat file in my platinum arts folder run in compatability mode for service pack 3 and all this does is make the game load slightly faster.

Go to "Data" and make a cfg file named "autoexec.cfg" if your unable to make one just copy one of the other cfg's and erase everything inside and rename autoexec.cfg. Next place "oqdynet 0" in the file, save it, and run Sandbox.

it still doesnt work... it dont matter if im in single player or coop, my game still crashes after 15 mins and there is nothing left i can do.Im not gonna play if this keeps happening. Im gonna give up with sandbox, that fix did not fix.

(EDIT:Gonna reinstall drivers, see if that helps)

Found a temporary fix, configure ati's setting and turn near enough everything off and ati overdrive off to make it work for much longer. I was playing for around 1 hour.

(EDIT:Found out i was lucky. This sucks. i quit until you get a proper fix.)

Sounds to me like ATI's just not playing nice with openGL again; might want to send them a complaint, then.

SVN has a workaround...

and the way he worded it implies it crashed immediately, rather than after a while (which would go back to that memory leak of theirs WHEN YOU DRAW LINES)
I really hope ATI gets a move on and fixes their OpenGL drivers....

you'd think lines would be the one thing no one would mess up

It eventually ate up my ram and killed itself. :)
