Can You create your own character in 2.3 or no? Because I need a game creator that allows you to create your own character. If I can not then will I be able to ADD a character into the game creator through the folders if I use some sort of code? I need a 3d game creator that allows you to create a game that you can play online, with characters you customized, and maps you created. So far in the 2.3 ed I only see the ability to create my maps (which is REALLY ncie since there is so much detail into this) but I don't see how I can create my own character that can do different actions and stuff...

Help please.

*remember I have a MAC and I can not download anything from 2.4 up.

I'm just gonna answer simply

- You can't make your own character (or customize) in game. You can make a model and put it in the game folders. There are tutorials on how to do this in the tutorial section of the forums.

- You cannot make mmos with Sandbox as of yet, especially not 2.3

You're right AA but neither can you do it in 2.5
Sandbox wasn't created to make mmo's but this can be worked around by using small maps!

The mac version of Sandbox hasn't been compiled past 2.3

Yeah. I suppose if youre that desperate to use 2.5, you can find a compiler for MAC and compile it yourself. Then theres the binary I think, you need to find a binary builder for mac and use that to build the final parts of it.

Grrr we need some mac coders.

I would learn how to do that stuff, but coding doesn't seem to sink in with me.
