how do you switch to rpg mode?

First off, get into your Sandbox folder.
2. Click on "Sandbox Launcher"
3. Click on the tab "Rpg"
4. Click on the down button, right next to the "village" map, and select whichever map you want
5. Then click "Launch"
And there you go!
If you want to change the Shaders or Screen resolution, those are at the top of the "Sandbox Launcher" window.

To add onto Arcones post, "F1 switches to edit-mode".

The RPG mode is located in the main folder. I think you were using a different version while trying to switch to edit mode.
