Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

I'm new to sandbox so i dont know if i am missing something, here is what i am running on and whats going on first of all:

Windows 7 64bit

Sandbox version 2.5

ATI Radeon 4850

8 gigs DDR 3

2.6 quad core AMD

The issue I have is I can't use the menu, or manually type in /newent creature 0-6 and get ANY type of creature whatsoever to pop up, infact its gone from the menu if i press F5 CREATURE is not listed under types of entities. HOWEVER, this is ONLY under RPG, not FPS.

Any Ideas??? I've already re-installed it in a different place,ran virus scans, i really dont know what to do or if this is normal for some reason? ALSO! I noticed when I press E to go into editing mode it DOES NOT WORK, I have to press ESC then toggle editing mode, E hot key does not work, and no creature entities exist.Both issues are ONLY in RPG not FPS.

Help!

You haven't done anything wrong! In fact, looks like you did a pretty good job of checking before asking for help!

Unfortunately, this is the main problem with RPG mode. You cannot have creature's. You can have monster's, but not creature's like FPS. This is the same with the "E for Edit" button. F1 will get you into edit mode in RPG!

well im glad its not me, how do I get "monsters" then and what is the difference??? I tried /newent monster 0-6 as well since i saw on the older versions thats what was used on older versions and no luck.

You have to place the monster in your data/game_rpg.cfg file. Right now, you have a temp you can spawn.

Try "/spawn temp" (without the quotation marks tho' )
The monster won't move around, but I believe that is being worked on by Hirato along with some other key components for RPG mode!
