True, although I did get banned from the chat... ruined everything for me, said some bad stuff by accident, I thought it would censor so you can't blame me... and I was just kidding around other times, and I said another word which wasn't even bad!!! And they still kick me. So honestly this isn't a great choice for most people :P But, also this editor has near no features... It needs features! Like AI, Weapons, not so you have to code yourself! We need Server/Client scripting! We need it simplified but not for kiddies. We need an adult version with all the features, the whole nine yards...... It may be a few years so that is why no one can rely on this engine for now, good progress but not quite ready.

Lol, I am not too good of a coder, true it is open source but you don't even have a script editor, near no tutorials for scripts, and if there are TUTs they don't tell you where to put them just say here is your code you are on your own. :o The other engines are great, built rather quickly, and as well have tutorials that aren't insanely advanced but explain and make it simple..... I know they have dev teams, people are here, why don't you hire dev teams too??? Add TUTs, and add the scripting...

So your saying Sandbox is not good for a lot of people because you can't cuss?!, and if you would have respected the rules you wouldn't have gotten kicked. This is a relatively new project, Hirato is the main one who has been developing for the engine, other than that there's not a lot of people. And Leo is making a FPS game with guns, AI and more. This is a open source project don't wait and expect to be spoon feed...contribute!. The FPS game Leo is developing is not meant for kids and as Leo said that he is going to share the project so other people can build from it. Why don't you learn Sandbox on your own and make some tutorials?

Not only am I creating an FPS that allows people to make their own. Im also releasing the Olympus Engine with more features than sandbox. As you mentioned earlier GR1M, with Weapons and AI. Even Multiplayer.

Lemme put it this way: Sandbox is free. There is no need to get money from this and so we won't hire dev teams.

I don't know where you have been looking but Sandbox has lot's of features. WE on the Project: Regen team are working on FPS features. So are the developers of Sandbox. Plus, coding is simple.

This engine it moving very well and people can rely on it. Check out Damiandj's thread for The Golden Coin. There's ten hours of gameplay!! Master Chef Ogro! Another RPG game. One of the amazing things about Sandbox is "What you put into Sandbox, is what you're going to get out of Sandbox."

There are plenty of Tut's here. And, Scripting is easy, just check the Support section for ton's of topic's on scripting. Also, there IS a Script Editor. Venima's working on it. It's partly done. Also you don't even need that (altho' it is helpful). Check out ALL the features of Sandbox before you say it can't be relied on.

Now, I believe you asked some questions about spells: In RPG mode, hit Tab and it'll pull up the spells. Equip your player, and right click to fire.

PLUS DID ANYONE READ WHAT I SAID? Sandbox cannot be relied on AS OF "NOW" "NOW" "NOW" none of the features are out, most of the TUTs never explain where you even put them! Wow really guys? I never meant hire dev teams, I meant recruit members... Plus sandbox DOES NOT have much features, lacking the most important, NETWORKING....

Networking is under way. We still need the master server. And I was talking to Hirato on Xchat yesterday and he was having problems with the map loading code for 2.6 (no longer 2.5.1) Hes gonna try and fix that one, as for Regen, Im gonna set it up so that the maps are *.rgn files instead. But you can still use *.ogz, providing that you convert them by renaming.

Thank you.... I really need networking, if you could make the rpg mode have a better GUI, like WoW or Runes of Magic? As well as put more pre made models, and the networking is MMORPG ready so I can just launch the master server after configuring the connections, sorta like Realm Crafter.... :)

I'll stick around hea for a while, see how stuff progresses, what I would like is that you all do put updates on the forum so it gives me hope :D And it would be nice for everyone to see improvement
