Diagnal/slopes

Hello, i look at the defualt maps and see that there are slopes on roofs and such. How do i do this?

See in the tutorials and resources, this question has already been answerd. If you can't find it look up keywords just as roof in the search bar.

select an area, hold q and scroll to make ramps (aim at the edges of 1 of the selected blocks)

Ok, i select and area press q and scroll, but all of the squares i selected go down to the corners, I don't understand this...

Benvdog,
If you have a scroll wheel or middle button on your mouse, then hover the cursor over the corner of a cube and press that (the scroll wheel or middle button) and move the cursor the length of what you want to turn into a slope. That selects the CORNERS of the cube. Then use the scroll wheel to lower them the amount you want to do. BTW, there are 8 clicks in a cube, which allows you to change the pitch from horizontal to 45 degree angle.
