Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

I wont to make a fps but i need a little help. Can you please tell me the fallowing: I want my guy to have 2 guns like pistol and m4, granade and a knife what do I do and iwhere do you get the guns?
I want to make my guy to be like Master chief or someone else where can i get the guy and how I install? Make my guy pick up weapons by pressing (some button) how to do it
and what button. and also how to put the health bars armor and ammo. Thank you if you will answer it will really help me. I will send the game... if you can do it.

the problem is:
You simply wont find people who give you all of their made stuff free. They have worked hard to model there weapons or stuff and they just simply wont give it to you free. So better start learning sth like Blender, so you could make your own models.

One other thing. The SVN for Sandbox is updating the FPS, so that might have some of the things you need.

You need to make mapmodels, which then need to be set as your playermodels etc. A good free program to do that is Blender 3D http://www.blender.com

If you cant use Blender... Use GOOGLE SketchUp... Just simply Search Sketch Up in your google Search Engine. If you want to texture it properly, simply export it as a *.kmz and then rename it to a *.zip, extract it and import the untitled.dae into Blender... Export the blender file to MD2, MD3 or OBJ for basic Models,Or if Its animated, Export it as a MD5.

Mmm this can be hard, you must be expert in PAS and in that things but no is a problem for some people

There is a program called assult cube available for free download at http://assault.cubers.net/

The progra, is based on the cube engine so if you know how to use sandbox then you have a good idea on how to use the assult cube.

Someone know fps on Linux? I'm using Linux and i see people only like windows and the cool stuff are there -_-
