Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

Hi. I'm new using sandbox, and I pretty much have everything down, except making a quest. I don't know how to make the spawns have text, or start, or rather create a text. I don't know how to create enemies or make them respond to the player's presence. I also need help on how to create my own spells. Finally, when I calculate the light, everything is dark. I would like shadows between my buildings and in allies. If anyone can help me with these problems, that'll be awesome.

If you select tutorials there, then you will find some about making NPC-s and other stuff... Also I will add tutorials there almost every day!

To make spells take a look of the rpg.cfg , there can put spells and i think you can put the level_trigger and the guis to make conversation and to enemies too, but if not run the trigger in the rpg.cfg try it in the mapname.cfg are in packages/base but if u not put there find the platinumarts folder in program archives.

Thanks for the help. But what about my light problem? Is it that I don't place enough light particles?

Try changing the color and size. (press F3 in edit mode )

are you placing light entities or particles? If you place a fire particle it wont light up your map... You need to place a light entity

Can be a lot of motives the light fail, and one can be because you got any bug in the cfg,
or place bad lights, or no know make lights good, or... you can see are a lot of possible problems!
See good and find the problem
