Help please?

Does anybody maybe have a tutorial on making shapes with the "Q" option? It is a bit hard for me.
hmm - ill write one for you now - its very easy when you know how - select the sides you want to slope. Now hold down q and point at a CORNER or ANY or the squares you have selected, and you want to push in. Scroll FORWARD (you will notice it doesn't work when scrolling backwards.) Now all the sides will slope in one direction. However you probably want a slope with two corners when you do this, so now look at another corner on any of the selected squares, and scroll forward until they meet. Youll see what I mean
In doing this its not advisable to select anything greater than one columb long, for reasons you will see,
