Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

Okay Here's The Story.

I was wanting to create my own virtual world for people to play.

and i found out this wonderful game maker.

then i decided, why not download it?

So i downloaded it then i went on it to test to see if it was fun.. then 3 hours later i was still on it having the time of my life

then i exited out to leave.

the next day i went on into my files trying to locate it. then i downloaded it like 5 times trying to get to it but it never worked.

then i kept downloading stuff. then FINALLY i found it but the error message popped up.

so thats how it messed up. i guess i over runned it or something

Geez... I don't know. Maybe you ran out of memory...? Probably not.

Usually, when you download things, it should go to your downloads unless you specified they get downloaded somewhere else. If you have windows (and I don't know if it's on other systems) you could try to use the Search bar for PlatinumArtsSandbox2.5 and see where your extra downloads went. Or you might've just downloaded the 7zip...

Maybe you copied one of the launchers for one file, then deleted it thinking that it was a launcher for another folder in a different place...

I don't know. I'm just tossing out ideas.

also: unrelated: You know the code in your signature is a bunch of HTML, right? If you're trying to include a picture, use the image tag and put the URL in between to show it.

Dear Helpsan, I don't know if this will completely help but maybe this might be your problem.

I'm going to show you how to create a desktop shortcut for it.

Open your folder and right click Click_Me_To_Start.Bat and click 'Create Shortcut'

Drag your new shortcut out of the folder and onto your desktop

Double click this shortcut, it should run sandbox, maybe you can give it an icon or something to spiff it up, as you can see I used my custom icons for the actual shortcuts on my rocketdock.
