yeah, that would make a difference, the multiplatform version only works on certain linux os's and the ubuntu version download doesn't wanna work

I havent read this post Entirely... but I can mention one thing you should do... Stop using the Launcher. ¬_¬
Instead, launch the game using the "batch" files instead... These are the ones known:
CLICK_ME_TO_START.bat = FPS
RPG.bat = RPG
SideScroller.bat = SSP
VehicleSimulator.bat = KRS
MovieCube = Movie

It may take longer to load them, but I dont think you'll get the missing files errors.

First you are using win7 yea okay let me think.

Go into the sandbox folder then go into packages\textures and see if the notexture is there if so it is not what i think it is.
IF not go onto bin and delete sld out then go into my-stuff and delete everything (note save a backup of any maps)

If none of leo or my steps do not work download a older version.
