No Texture

so i spent about five hours today making some map, i saved it, and to see if the playerstart entity i placed was working (sometimes it doesn't) and to my dismay, my map had been reduced to:

any help would be MUCH appreciated

that's a... uh surprise
is windows saving the files somewhere outside the sandbox directory?
did you quit before it could save the map fully? in which case, try loading up a backup (rename the .BAK files inside packages/base)

im not even sure how to check where windows is saving them... but it should be in the right place, because they show up in the level select thing...

but heres a new update, this happens every time i save a map... so i just lost another 3 hours of my life... if i dont dave a map, and keep it the way it is, then i can play it fine, but when i save it... well, we already know what happens...

also:
i have Vista... um... not sure which one :P
and my driver software and whatnot is all up to date...

Do you have Vista Service Pack 1?

In that screenshot it is saying it didn't load the map because it couldn't read it. Make sure you got the name right and that you saved it. When you save it, it will say on the top that the map was written. Take care.

oh, thanks alot! dont know why it saved with a different name -_- but everything's working now, thanks alot!
