I am brand new to this game engine & need some tutoring in Sandbox.
I have done the video tutorials and read/printed lots of text tutorials.
I have created:
a bouncepad, creatures, new map models, etc,.
We are planning on using Sandbox in our high school class starting in January.
If someone could show me how to create some basic games or simple fun ideas to get me started
I would really appreciate the help! Do you know someone in Northern California that could possibly help?

Re: Just a beginner
That's a huge topic, try asking something smaller, then maybe someone can help.

Re: Just a beginner
And maybe you look into the wiki, and read the readme's in PlatinumArtsSandbox2.6 ---> docs (read the 3rd, the 4rd and the last readme, than you've a global idea of some editing tips, and you can try (in game): esc ---> help ---> keybinds for more keybinds, that's all, and you need to get a bit used to the codes and stuff, and some creativity for the maps
Hope this helps!

Re: Just a beginner
I've been thinking of doing a map to do this, but I don't have 2.6... But i have 2.5 if that's what you use.

Re: Just a beginner
You can make maps in 2.5 for 2.6, they work in 2.6, except if you use coding (but most coding still works)chocolatepie33 wrote:I've been thinking of doing a map to do this, but I don't have 2.6... But i have 2.5 if that's what you use.

Yeah, coding might be the only vice to it... guibars and the like are gone, et cetera, et al....
