It won't load and i could really do with someone's help.

I have installed sandbox. when i go to the folder i select CLICKMETOSTART. a menu comes up. i go through it until it comes to the menu:
Toggle Edit
Load Map
Custom Map
etc. I don't know what to choose now, so I choose load map. Another menu comes up. i select a map. a loading screen comes up. Then the whole thing goes off and nothing happens. so i go back on CLICKMETOSTART and choose new map. same thing appens. i choose a size, it puts a loading screen up, turns off and nothing happens. im not a genius so i dont know what video card or that sort of stuff my laptop has. all i know is that it has windows vista and sandbox 2.6. i'd REALLY appreciate any suggestions that could help me get the program working :{

That is quite wierd... you could always try sandbox 2.5?

P.S. Windows vista isnt awesome if im honest - I would REALLY recommend the upgrade to 7, or even install ubuntu?

I agree with owen, but instead of upgrading, down grade to XP, SB doesn't like 7 for what ever reason
And, to start a newmap you can just type /newmap [10-19]

i can't really upgrade or downgrade so is there anything else i can do?
also, when i try shutting down my laptop, it says installing updates 1 of 7. i waited for an hour but it remained on 1 of 7. i don't know if it means installing sandbox or not. did anyone else find this?

Uh, IDK what to say, but you should download 2.5, cuz 2.5 and 2.6 have way to many differences

Of course this is not sandbox, it are programs that are automaticly installed when installing Windows, like Word, excel, stuff like that

2.5 didn't even download! im gong to retry 2.6 and restart my computer.
