Unable to download

I tried to download version 2.6.1 but about one-third of the way through I got an "Integrity check failed" message. Then I tried to download version 2.6 and got the same thing. Now I can even run either program. I just keep getting the "Integrity check failed" message. It says one of the most likely causes is an incomplete download and the other is damaged media.
I'm using Windows XP and I've verified that I have plenty of memory available. I'm also trying to download the Windows version of the program. I just don't understand why it's not loading. I don't know how anyone could recreate this problem but there''s probably something wrong with the Windows script.
