Hi everyone,
An EXCELLENT step forward in india-game-creation - kudos to the creators of Sandbox.
I am a mac user and am trying to figure out how to (step by step) create an executable that does not require the sandbox application (basically something that i can burn on cd and send to someone who can open and play the game on his/her computer).
I tried to search previous posts here and Mike claims that this is possible - can someone please shed some color?
Thankyou your help is appreciated,
Midas

Yeah i think i know how
Put all the files on the disc and use this:
http://download.cnet.com/Bat-To-Exe-Con ... 55897.html
(bat to exe converter)
Then make the auto play to launch the game.
Hope this helps/works

Hi Pizzalover,
Thankyou, sadly i use a Mac and I dont think .exe files is a solution. Also the saved maps from Sandbox are .cfg files. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your quick response anyway though.
Midas
p.s btw I met "indie-game-creation not India-game-creation lols"

Ok thanks v. much for the response, I will try to do this!
Would be great if the next spawn of PAS could have a "export to standalone" function (christmas wish)

last I checked, PAS was always needed because it's the game engine, so you'd need it no matter what, I think... of course, look at MCO.

Hi Choco yes that is no problem - I understand that since it is the main physics engine that runs all maps, it is required.
Pizzalover thankyou so much for doing this - I eagerly await the outcome! If I can help (i have a mac) in your testing of the tutorial let me know, thanks!
