trouble starting platinum arts sandbox beta 2.2.0

I have downloaded platinum arts sandbox beta 2.2.0 for windows but when I try and start it, it says that i don't have the right software the software I have won't open pf. files, so I am hoping someone can tell me with what software i need to download. thank you.

Why download such an old version of sandbox. Why not just download 2.6.1 or better yet the Envelopment version of sandbox.

well my internet is kinda slow so i downloaded a smaller sized version, and that didn't help me.

There are no files in sandbox with a .pf extension.

You'd be better off with a newer version, but you shouldn't have any trouble running older versions such as 2.2.0.
Out of curiosity, where did you download sandbox 2.2.0?

Also even if your internet is slow always try and install the latest version because it is more stable and faster (More FPS).
