Lagging horribly on dev

As the subject explains it, i am lagging extremely on the dev, any suggestions on how to fix this? i know someone has an answer

(A) Make sure you update your graphics card drivers
(B) Lower the resolution (C) Try turning shaders off.

Well i was going to going to get sandbox a vent but i don't know if calimer wants one, I know how to get one free

I also herd that sandbox has a voice chat thing called mumble.
