changing grid size problems?

When I try to change grid size using g+scroll I get this message in the console:
unknown command: nodebug
4)delta_edit_1
3)arg1
2)do
1)universaldelta

I get that multiple times. Changing it through the gridsize slider does not work either because the slider won't even move.
I've restarted sandbox many times and tried deleting the config_fps.cfg file but to no avail. I am using sandbox 2.7 on a mac. I've check the key binds so they are fine but I don't know what els I should check. Any ideas?

EDIT: Also I don't know why a extra "/" keeps appearing in my map directory. It's messing with my .cfg files. Ignore the rest of the weird errors, those are unimportant.

I don't know if this will work, but try changing your default scroll to Page Up and Page Down. You can do this by going into the Options or Editing GUI when you're in editmode. Hope this helped!

2.6.1 or older mac binaries - check
2.7.0 data files and content - check

Oh gee, I can't imagine what could possibly be wrong

There are no mac builds for 2.7.0 publicly available.
Unless we get a volunteer to do them they probably will not exist either.

No. The problem is not that I am using

because I have been using it successfully with 2.7 for a while. There is some other factor that has been changed since then but I'm not sure what. I just want to know what types of things would cause this problem. BTW: Binaries for 2.7 are not necessary. It has been working fine without them. If you have any information that might help me diagnose this problem that will be much appreciated but the problem is not the binaries nor is it the key binds. Something is preventing the gridsize from changing and I don't know what. Please respond with more useful info.
