Hey everyone,
I have a sound file that I integrated into my game. However when I listen to the sound in Windows Media Player, the sound is higher pitched and more crisp. In the game, the sound has clearly been altered. How do I fix this so that the sound file sounds like the original? Thanks a ton.

Re: Problem with custom sound
what format is the sound? Sandbox uses .ogg files pretty well, but it might support mp3. anyways, see what format that is, as that might explain everything.

You might also check to see if you have altered the EQ in wmp from the default settings.. This might explain why the sound isnt as high-pitched and crisp in-game as it sounds in your media player..
Have you tried the sound in another media player to see if its a sandbox exclusive problem?
