2.7.1 Ubuntu, how do i install?

Hey I just got Ubuntu installed on one of my computers and was wondering, How do I install the latest 2.7.1 multi platform version on my Ubuntu Linux?
I use Windows, so this is a real iffy guess...
anyways, download the multiplatform version. last I checked, it's a .zip file. that means you would have to extract it using winzip or 7zip or something similar. from there, move the folder to where you want it, open and run sandbox.
that's my best shot.
