Not Opening. Black screens.

Whenever I try to open up sandbox my computer screen just goes black and stays like it until i do something. when the screen goes black i also can not move my mouse and the only way i can get out of it is if i do Ctrl+Alt+Del and then shut the program down. Please tell me what im doing wrong!
