Wheel change binding won't stick

Post by Morvack »

Hello. Hopefully someone can help me. I followed the wikipedias instructions, as to change the bindings on the mouse wheel, to insert and delete. Delete works fine, but for some reason, insert, trying to raise masses of land, does not work at all. It seems like the change isn't sticking even though I deleted the config_rpg.cfg in the "my stuff" file. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advanced for any helpful replies :D .

Ok, maybe I need to clarify. I am on a laptop, so no mouse wheel. For some reason, it will not allow me to use insert instead of mouse wheel, even though it will let me use delete instead of mouse wheel. In the program file, I made sure I typed insert with all capital letters, and in the correct space, just as I did with delete. But as I said, for some reason unbeknownst to me, it doesn't work. Anyone able to offer advice? :D

did you use 'bind' or 'editbind' commands? insert and delete might have some editmode specific stuff that overrides what you're trying to do.

Anyways, I'd suggest PAGEUP and PAGEDOWN as opposed to INSERT and DELETE.
This is not a url, clicking it is pointless
