Is it possible to make lights flicker?

If it is, how do you make that?

Of course scripting would be a big part of this maybe some how have a loop where a light is changing direction and calculating the light real time? Sounds difficult but I knows it's possible, I've seen it done.

if you figure something out that would be really helpful, can you explain it to me?
